CBOND ACM Signage Grade – Polyester Coating

  • Flat Bed Printable
  • 3mm Thickness, 0.3mm Skin

Aluminium composite sheets are a cost-effective and high-quality alternative to solid aluminium sheets and have a great weight advantage being much lighter and easier to process and fabricate compared with aluminium sheets. It is made up of a Polyethylene sheet bonded with a skin (from 0.10 to 0.5mm thick) of aluminium on both sides. It looks and feels like an aluminium sheet. However, the sheet is very easy to cut or bend and can be ordered with any colour applied all with a high-end accurate finish. They come in 3 different formats i.e., Signage, Lite and Construction grade. The main difference being the construction has a carbon fluoro carbon coating on top of the colour, giving it an immense outdoor lifespan (up to 15 years in some cases with a special PVDF colour base) The surface actually repels anything trying to adhere to it and as such is no good for applying self-adhesive vinyl or anything else to it. The signage grade has a lifespan of approximately 5 years (with PE factory coating on it) and can be painted (although not recommended) Self-adhesive vinyl can be applied to it. Great for franchises where the average life of the corporate image is 8 to 10 years and you may need a combination of cladding and self-adhesive vinyl applications. Great for building cladding, as no painting is required for a very long time.
